Role Overview
The Government Systems team at Chainalysis is seeking a Software Engineer to build the software that packages, delivers, and manages Reactor for government and high-security customers. This role involves working across the full stack to develop Go and Java services, building installer tooling, developing data delivery pipelines, and extending an admin portal UI, specifically focusing on the constraints of on-premises and air-gapped environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop a Go-based CLI installer to automate provisioning, manifest rendering, and deployment to air-gapped networks.
- Build and maintain Java services for blockchain data delivery pipelines.
- Extend the React-based Admin Portal backed by a Node.js server.
- Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform to manage AWS environments.
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate applications into the on-prem platform and design multi-tenancy capabilities.
- Support FedRAMP compliance through audit logging, RBAC, and security hardening.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Go, and Bash.
- Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes (deployments, networking, storage, Helm).
- Experience with infrastructure as code, specifically Terraform.
- Solid Linux fundamentals (RHEL, networking, storage).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government operating requirements.
Nice to Have
- Experience building custom Kubernetes operators (Operator SDK or controller-runtime).
- Familiarity with Kafka or other event streaming platforms.
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance frameworks.
