Role Overview

The .NET Application Developer for the Private Equity IT team supports Citco’s fast-growing Private Equity Fund Administration business. The role involves working within a cross-functional organization of business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure engineers to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications that address business-motivated changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using .NET Core and C#
• Build and consume RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API
• Design and implement frontend components using React
• Work with EF Core and SQL Server for data access and persistence
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver features
• Follow Agile development practices such as Scrum or Kanban
• Contribute to application enhancements and modernization initiatives

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core
• Good understanding of ASP.NET Core Web API and REST API design principles
• Practical experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Familiarity with state management using Redux or Context API
• Experience with SQL Server, including query optimization and stored procedures
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication abilities

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)
• Basic awareness of AI tools like GitHub Copilot or AWS Q
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
