DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps and Application Support team in India. This is an amazing opportunity to work on key products in the Intellectual Property space, managing applications and data in a hybrid environment of Linux servers running Tomcat, JAVA applications, and Elastic Search, as well as various services in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Application support: ensure applications are available, maintain monitoring, and provide runbooks for L1.
• Partner with Development and DBA teams to escalate issues.
• Participate in an on-call rota.
• Setup and improve CI/CD pipelines and participate in the 6-weekly release cycle.
• Participate in projects to migrate, upgrade, and improve the environment.
• Extend and improve monitoring capabilities.
• Write infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Share innovative ideas and contribute to team improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Application Support or DevOps-focused role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, EKS, CloudFront, and Lambda.
• Experience supporting applications in an L2 role.
• Proficient in scripting in Linux/Bash.
• Strong attitude with eagerness, respect, and ownership.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TeamCity.
• Experience with patching and various security tools.
