Associate Software Engineer

Role Overview

Clinisys is a global provider of intelligent diagnostic informatics solutions, building AI-enabled, cloud-based platforms to enhance diagnostic workflows across healthcare, life sciences, and public health. As an Associate Software Engineer, you will contribute to an AI-first organization, developing software solutions across multiple subsystems while applying digital and analytical thinking to support healthier communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions including requirements definition, prototyping, architectural design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Understand application structure and customer usage patterns.
• Research new technologies and development tools to stay current with industry trends.
• Document solutions using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and clearly readable code.
• Analyze defects and perform root cause analysis to resolve issues.
• Comply with internal quality systems, standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 1-2 years of experience with the software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and quality assurance.
• Solid working knowledge of C#, JavaScript, and RDBMS (Oracle or SQL Server).
• Understanding of OOPS concepts, multi-tiered application design, and HTML/DHTML.
• Experience using AI-powered tools for development, testing, and documentation, including an understanding of prompt engineering.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud development or containerized deployments.
• Experience with agentic AI development tools and workflows.
• Knowledge of scientific data software, medical devices, or healthcare software.
