Advance Software Engineer

Role Overview

This position is responsible for software development in the area of HMI/UI for agricultural vehicles, contributing to the design, implementation and maintenance of software solutions. This role involves creating software architecture designs implementing UI using multiple technologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about world class software development and providing technical leadership to development teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop HMI using Java/Android for Precision Application product solutions.
• Create and refine software requirements to meet system requirements for Precision Farming Applications.
• Create SW architecture at feature level or subsystem level.
• Drive application performance and memory improvements.
• Analyze and root cause software issues found internally and externally.
• Develop software unit test scripts.
• Provide Technical Leadership to SW development team and act as a quality gate for SW deliverables.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in Java and Android Application Development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, including Multiprocessing, Multithreading, and Synchronization.
• Good understanding of Android core concepts like Data Binding, Intent, and Broadcast Receiver.
• Hands on experience with Dependency Injection frameworks and RxJava.
• Good understanding of MVVM architecture and SOLID Principles.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and SVN.
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering (Master's preferred).
