Role Overview
We are seeking a Mobile Application Developer with 2+ years of experience to design, develop, test, and deploy mobile monitoring solutions (Plugin) for both Android and iOS platforms. This role involves building a performance monitoring solution that captures real-time metrics.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy mobile monitoring solutions (Plugin) for Android and iOS platforms.
- Build and maintain a performance monitoring solution that captures real-time metrics such as CPU, memory, battery, network usage, and app responsiveness.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Java/Kotlin code for Android, and Swift/Objective-C for iOS.
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs and data pipelines for performance data aggregation.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices and standards.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues.
- Stay up to date with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and technologies.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on mobile application development experience for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Demonstrated experience delivering production-quality apps on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Prior experience developing performance monitoring, diagnostics, or analytics tools is a strong advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Java (mandatory) for Android development.
- Working knowledge of Kotlin for modern Android development.
- Proficiency in Swift or Objective-C for iOS development.
- Familiarity with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and iOS UIKit / SwiftUI frameworks.
- Solid understanding of mobile performance concepts include memory management, threading, network optimization, and battery consumption.
- Experience with RESTful API integration and JSON/XML data handling.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and mobile build tools (Gradle, Xcode Build System).
