Node js developer (Experience: 2-3 Years)

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer with 2-3 years of experience in building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, microservices architecture, database design, and cloud-based deployments. You will work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver high-performance applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js
• Build REST APIs and microservices for web and mobile applications
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD deployments
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes
• Maintain technical documentation and coding standards

Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify
• Understanding of Microservices architecture and Event-driven programming
• Experience with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Knowledge of JWT and OAuth 2.0
• Experience with Git and version control workflows
• Understanding of unit testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha/Chai
