Guidewire Claims Developer

Role Overview

Coforge is seeking an experienced Guidewire Claims Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter development and implementation. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and integrating ClaimCenter solutions while demonstrating a solid understanding of Property Casualty (PC) insurance claims processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support Guidewire ClaimCenter applications.
• Customize components including PCF Screens, Gosu Classes, Business Rules, Workflows, and Validation Rules.
• Develop and maintain integrations between ClaimCenter and external applications using SOAP/REST APIs.
• Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, and production support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Support Guidewire upgrades, enhancements, and cloud migration initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter development experience.
• Expertise in Gosu, PCF Development, Business Rules, Workflows, and Data Model Extensions.
• Experience with Guidewire Integration Framework and REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of Property Casualty (PC) Insurance and the claims lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
