Guidewire PolicyCentre Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud Developer to design, configure, and implement PolicyCenter solutions on the Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP). The ideal candidate will work across configuration, integrations, and custom development to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions in a cloud-native environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure PolicyCenter entities including Advanced Product Designer, Data Model, Product Model, Rating, PCF UI, Workflows, and Rules.
• Develop custom components using Gosu, plugins, messaging, batch processes, and event-driven patterns.
• Implement Guidewire Cloud-specific patterns such as cloud services, feature toggles, and tenancy.
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs for internal and external systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Write unit/integration tests and support automation using Cucumber, Selenium, REST Assured, and Postman.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Strong proficiency in Gosu, PCF, Rules, Data Model, and Messaging.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform and deployment processes.
• Solid understanding of the Policy lifecycle (quote, bind, issue, endorsement, cancellation, renewal).
• API development experience with REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, and Postman.
• DevOps/CI/CD experience with Git and Azure DevOps/Jenkins.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, and XSD/WSDL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
