App Dev & Support Engineer II

Role Overview

Conduent is seeking a React UI Developer to engage in application development, testing, release, and support. You will produce fully functional application code based on industry best practices, gather requirements, and suggest technical solutions to create exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Engage in application development, test, release and support.
• Produce fully functional application code based on industry best practices.
• Gather specific requirements, ask questions and suggest solutions.
• Write unit and API tests to ensure working code and support CICD team.
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
• Liaise with the Product development team to plan new features in agile model.
• Ensure applications meet quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
• 3-5 years of work experience as a UI developer.
• Ability to develop attractive user interfaces.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, React (v18), and Redux (v5).
• Ability to write reusable UI components.
• Knowledge of the main components such as Virtual DOM, JSX, etc.
• Experience with CSS and HTML.
• Writing code according to the requirements of React JS and Node JS.
• Implementing modifications and updates to improve application performance.
• Collaborate with UX designer, backend developers, QA and functional team members.
