IT Testing Engineer II

Role Overview

Conduent is looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks. This role ensures high-quality software delivery by maximizing test coverage and improving testing efficiency through advanced automation tools and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts aligned with manual test cases.
• Establish baseline execution times and document automation efficiency and ROI metrics.
• Execute automated test suites and ensure results are accurately tracked, analyzed, and reported.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to drive resolution.
• Integrate and execute automated tests through CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, scripts, and frameworks.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio and Katalon Runtime Engine (KRE).
• Strong understanding of Java, SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver using Java.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Experience in REST API testing using Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines and using Git-based version control.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Proficiency with defect management tools like JIRA and Azure DevOps.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and LLMs.
• Experience in the U.S. Healthcare domain.
• Experience with performance testing.
