AI Engineer Intern

Role Overview

Constems-AI is looking for a motivated AI engineer intern to support the development of deep learning and computer vision solutions for real-world VisionAI and RetailAI applications. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced AI engineers on model development, experimentation, testing, and deployment while gaining hands-on industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and fine-tuning deep learning models for image and video analytics.
• Support training, validation, and inference pipelines.
• Work with Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and other AI libraries.
• Help with data preprocessing, augmentation, annotation, and dataset management.
• Support AI model deployment using Docker, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for testing, integration, and performance optimisation.
• Research and experiment with modern AI architectures such as CNNs, Vision Transformers, and object detection models.
• Document experiments and contribute to improving model performance.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a B.Tech/B.E. in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, electronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 80% marks in academics (mandatory).
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Basic hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision concepts.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and work on real-world AI applications.
