Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Data Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building data solutions end-to-end—from ingesting and transforming raw data through to modelling, visualization, and delivering actionable business insights. You will work closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Corporate Functions to translate business requirements into scalable data products built on the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. Note: Role will require supporting EU/US timezones.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement full-stack BI solutions from data ingestion through to user-facing reports and apps.
- Develop and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory pipelines, dataflows Gen2, copy activities).
- Land, organise, and structure data using Fabric Lakehouse and/or Data Warehouse patterns.
- Build and maintain Power BI semantic models (datasets) with clear, consistent business logic using DAX measures and calculated columns.
- Develop high-quality Power BI reports, dashboards, and apps that are intuitive and performant.
- Implement dimensional and star schemas optimized for BI use cases.
- Ensure BI solutions comply with data governance policies and security standards.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data transformation, modelling, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components including Data Factory, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse.
- Strong Power BI skills, including DAX, semantic modelling, and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts.
- Experience implementing BI security models (e.g. RLS).
- Familiarity with Git-based source control and CI/CD practices.
- Experience working with enterprise source systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, finance systems).
