Civil Engineering Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in Mysore. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of AutoCAD drafting, quantity estimation and billing, and construction site execution. This internship offers hands-on experience in design, project coordination, and site engineering activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assist in preparing architectural, structural, and site layout drawings.
• Support quantity take-offs, estimation, and preparation of BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
• Assist in preparing client and contractor billing based on project progress.
• Monitor day-to-day construction activities and support site execution.
• Conduct site measurements and verify completed work.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients.
• Ensure construction work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare daily progress reports, site documentation, and project records.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain quality standards at the project site.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, and construction site execution.
• Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites, if required.
