Android Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java/Kotlin, Android SDK, REST API integration, and mobile application development. Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL for backend/API development is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance mobile applications.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and backend systems.
• Develop and maintain APIs using PHP and MySQL.
• Work with JSON, XML, authentication, and server-side data communication.
• Integrate third-party services such as Firebase, Google APIs, payment gateways, SMS/OTP services, and push notifications.
• Debug and resolve application issues across different Android devices and OS versions.
• Perform application testing, bug fixing, performance optimization, and release management.
• Work with SQLite and MySQL for application data management.
• Publish and manage application releases through the Google Play Console.
• Use Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket for version control.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Android application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java/Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL for backend/API development.
• Experience with third-party integrations such as Firebase, payment gateways, and notifications.
• Basic understanding of Swift or Objective-C is an added advantage.
