Role Overview

Crossing Infotech is offering a full-time remote internship opportunity for an aspiring Java Developer to gain practical exposure to Java programming, backend development, databases, APIs, debugging, testing, and software development workflows. The role focuses on assisting with Java-based application development while gaining hands-on experience with programming, backend functionality, database operations, and development practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining Java-based applications.
• Write clean and maintainable Java code under appropriate guidance.
• Apply object-oriented programming concepts to assigned development tasks.
• Assist with implementing application features and backend functionality.
• Develop and integrate basic REST APIs under appropriate guidance.
• Work with relational databases using SQL.
• Assist with database-related development and data operations.
• Debug and troubleshoot basic application issues.
• Perform basic testing of Java applications and assigned features.
• Assist with identifying and resolving software defects.
• Use Git or other version-control tools for assigned development work.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Maintain basic technical documentation for assigned tasks.
• Work with team members to understand technical requirements.
• Complete assigned development tasks within agreed timelines.

Requirements
