Job Description
Role Overview
As a Software Engineer on the Service Monetization Team, you will architect, build, and optimize the subscriptions and payments platform that enables membership and powers revenue collection for Crunchyroll. You will work with design, product, quality, and data teams to solve complex challenges, optimize performance, and enhance user experience within a highly secure, distributed, and scalable environment.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and optimize the subscriptions and payments platform.
- Integrate with payment providers and implement payments fraud detection and prevention.
- Optimize systems to reduce passive churn while maintaining PCI compliance.
- Participate in operational excellence through on-call rotations and incident management.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment to create technical solutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience in the software industry building robust and reliable backend services.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, RDS, and ECS.
- Experience with databases including PostgresDB, MariaDB, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
- Proven experience in operational excellence and incident management.
