Software Engineer

Role Overview

Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design. You will design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications, support/install software applications, and participate in the testing process through review, analysis, and certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, system flows, and data usage.
• Follow the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and document solutions.
• Determine feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definitions, and requirements.
• Prepare and install solutions by designing system specifications and standards.
• Improve applications by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes.
• Define applications, interfaces, and Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs).
• Apply Agile and DevSecOps practices to accelerate delivery.
• Implement CI/CD and automated testing to improve quality.

Requirements

• College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Understanding of multiple architectures and programming/testing standards.
• Knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance principles.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern engineering tools.
• Preferred experience in software engineering via internships, co-ops, or extracurricular activities.
