Software Engineer Intern

Role Overview

Curer is a healthcare startup focused on solving real-world problems using technology. We are looking for developer interns who love coding, experimenting, and building meaningful products. This is a remote role offering high ownership and real startup experience.

Responsibilities

• Build real product features and work on backend/services using Python or Node.js
• Ship fast, iterate, and learn quickly in a fast-moving team environment
• Collaborate with a small team using modern development workflows
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development

Requirements

• Strong understanding of software fundamentals including APIs, logic, and debugging
• Proven track record of building projects, scripts, or tools (GitHub preferred)
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js (or ability to learn quickly)
• Experience with Git for version control
• Self-driven mindset with the ability to work without micromanagement

Nice to Have

• Experience using AI tools or "vibe coding" in your workflow
• Experience deploying live applications
• A passion for building impactful products in the healthcare sector
