Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Backend Python Developer with 3–5 years of experience in backend development. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python, Django/FastAPI, REST APIs, cloud-native AWS services, and database technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications while ensuring high performance, reliability, and code quality in a fast-paced product development environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Django and/or FastAPI.
• Design and optimize MongoDB collections, queries, aggregations, and complex pipelines.
• Work with SQL for relational data modeling and query optimization.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and manage them on AWS ECS/ECR using AWS Copilot.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Django and/or FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and development.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Databricks.
• Experience with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with MongoDB (aggregation pipelines) and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
