Software Engineer

Role Overview

RiVirtual is a Real Estate Intelligence company based in New York, delivering advanced solutions for real estate investments, commercial and residential real estate, and real estate digital transformation. As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support RiVirtual’s real estate intelligence, digital transformation platforms, and FinTech/PropTech products in a full-time remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Implement back-end services and APIs
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Integrate data sources and third-party tools
• Optimize system performance and scalability
• Collaborate with product and data teams
• Participate in code reviews and write tests
• Contribute to technical documentation and architecture decisions

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience with Back-End Web Development, including APIs and databases
• Knowledge of modern development tools, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD practices
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with security best practices
• Interest or experience in real estate, FinTech, or PropTech domains
