Technician / Engineer - Condensing Unit

Role Overview

You'll turn engineering concepts into working refrigeration condensing units, building and testing the prototypes that prove our next generation of products before they reach the market. Reliable, safe, well-tested units are what protect Danfoss's reputation for quality — and your hands-on validation work is where that quality is earned. As demand for energy-efficient cooling accelerates across the region, this role puts you at the heart of product development, with a clear path to grow into deeper testing, engineering, or product ownership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire condensing unit prototypes from engineering drawings, delivering build-ready units for testing.
• Install and connect refrigeration systems — evaporators, piping, brazing, evacuation, and charging — so each unit runs to spec.
• Execute performance, reliability, and functional tests, generating the data engineers rely on for product validation.
• Record and report test results accurately, giving the team a clear, trusted evidence base for decisions.
• Maintain lab equipment and enforce safety and 5S standards, keeping the test facility efficient and audit-ready.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 0–5 years of experience in HVAC/R, refrigeration, testing, or manufacturing.
• Hands-on ability with electrical wiring, brazing, and refrigeration system assembly.
• A safety-first mindset and disciplined approach to accurate test documentation.
