Data Engineer

Role Overview

You will join the Operations Excellence team within the R&D Customer Strategic Partnerships organization at Dassault Systèmes, a global leader in Scientific Software Engineering, in Pune, Maharashtra. This organization supports the deployment of key customers by defining solutions in close collaboration with them. The Operations Excellence organization specifies and deploys the tools required for monitoring and reporting on these activities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for specifying and developing dashboarding tools required for the day-to-day monitoring of the R&D Customer Strategic Partnerships organization’s activities.
• Specifications will be defined in collaboration with different user groups, with a strong functional focus.
• Perform a technical analysis phase to identify reusable standard components or components requiring dedicated development.
• Inclusion of a Data-oriented dimension to ensure data quality, consolidation, and relevance of displayed results.
• Deployment monitoring and iterations to ensure solution quality and dashboard adoption.
• Evolve in an international environment, learning about challenges across various Dassault Systèmes industries, activities, processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Work closely with the Operations Excellence R&D Customer Strategic Partnerships team, R&D Industry Leaders, R&D Tools teams, and IT teams.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree with Specialization in Computer Science.
• Candidate with Data Engineer / Data Analyst certification preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of previous experience.

Technical Skills:

• Front-end development: HTML / CSS / JavaScript (ReactJS would be a plus).
• Back-end knowledge: Docker / Python / Node.js.
• Interest in database systems: MySQL.
• Data Visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau.
• Interest in task automation / DevOps practices (GitLab).
• Strong writing and documentation skills.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
