Data Analyst Internship

Role Overview

As a Data Analyst / Data Scientist Intern at DataLegions, you will work with real datasets to generate meaningful, actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. The role covers the full analytics lifecycle including data collection, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and reporting, while providing exposure to foundational data science practices.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and transform datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Analyze data to extract actionable insights, trends, and patterns
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations for internal and client-facing use
• Assist in building, testing, and maintaining basic data models aligned with business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data-driven recommendations
• Support automation of repetitive data tasks and processes
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency or working familiarity with Excel, SQL, and Python
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
• Basic understanding of statistics and/or machine learning concepts is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
