Backend / Operations Developer

Role Overview

DC International is seeking a Backend / Operations Developer to work within complex, real-world systems. This is a remote position requiring full-time availability from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Central Time, with 4 onsite weeks annually in Carrollton, Texas. This role is ideal for a developer who can navigate unfamiliar codebases, improve existing APIs, and deliver stable enhancements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and enhance existing C# and .NET applications
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and background services
• Write and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
• Develop Microsoft Power Platform solutions including Power Automate
• Integrate and test with internal and external third-party APIs
• Build automation workflows and use Postman to validate integrations
• Participate in Git-based workflows, pull requests, and code reviews
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to deploy and monitor changes

Requirements

• 1-3+ years of backend, systems, or operational software development experience
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Stack, specifically C# and .NET/.NET Core
• Experience writing clean, maintainable SQL and database interactions
• Proven API development and integration experience
• Ability to work with Visual Studio and VS Code
