Business Development Intern

Role Overview

As a Business Development Intern, you will build the research foundation for our US growth by creating a structured target account book and conducting competitive intelligence. This is a hands-on research role focused on identifying ideal customer profiles and tracking competitor movements to support the sales motion.

Responsibilities

• Research US consumer brands and build structured profiles based on defined ideal customer profiles.
• Analyze public signals such as job postings, case studies, and LinkedIn to identify decision-making functions.
• Identify key stakeholders, such as the Head of Insights or Head of Analytics.
• Monitor competitor activity including pricing changes, new features, and conference appearances.
• Organize and maintain research data to ensure it remains usable for the sales team.

Requirements

• Methodical and thorough approach to managing and cleaning datasets.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and advanced online research techniques.
• Strong curiosity regarding business structures and B2B buying processes.
• Ability to own and execute large-scale research projects over several weeks.
