Role Overview

Deloitte is seeking a skilled and passionate SDET / Automation Test Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, specializing in Web and API Automation Testing. You will work within our Technology & Transformation practice to develop, execute, and maintain scalable automation solutions that ensure high-quality software delivery within Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium with Java.
• Develop and execute API automation test cases using Karate and ReadyAPI/SoapUI.
• Analyze business and functional requirements to identify automation opportunities.
• Integrate automation test suites with GitHub Actions and Jenkins to support continuous testing.
• Identify, log, track, and validate software defects using Jira.
• Execute browser compatibility testing using SauceLabs and Perfecto.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
• Perform root cause analysis on automation execution failures.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automated testing practices using tools like Selenium, Karate, SoapUI, or ReadyAPI.
• Minimum 1 year of debugging code and analytics tags using Chrome DevTools or Charles.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Experience in manual QA of digital experiences end-to-end.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field.
