Role Overview

As a Consultant within Deloitte's Technology & Transformation practice, you will act as a technical expert and individual contributor, providing expertise across multiple phases of the project lifecycle including design, implementation, optimization, and support. You will focus on platform development and integration, designing high-quality microservices on open-source technologies to be cloud-ready.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality microservices on open-source technologies to be cloud-ready.
• Follow Agile software development methodologies and adhere to best practices.
• Liaise with external vendors as required for projects.
• Own tasks end-to-end from designing to deployment.
• Drive best practices and mentor junior engineers.
• Influence design and architecture decisions.

Requirements

• 3-9 years of hands-on development experience.
• Strong experience with Java (8+) and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience building Microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (preferably Jenkins) and TDD.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and Database development.
• Strong understanding of J2EE & OOPS Design Patterns.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Any Graduation degree.
