Role Overview

Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice helps companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into actionable information. As a Services Developer, you will focus on backend service development, building and maintaining scalable microservices within a cloud-native environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build and enhance applications using Java.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with Azure services for application deployment and integration.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and business teams to deliver quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance and reliability.
• Follow coding standards, development best practices, and Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Experience with Docker.
• Good working knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in developing and maintaining backend services/microservices.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and service integration.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
