Role Overview
We are seeking a Real-Time Data & NoSQL Engineer to design, build and optimize high throughput, low latency data platforms. The role focuses on data streaming, caching layers, and unstructured storage to support enterprise-scale modernization.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain high throughput Apache Kafka topics, partitions, and consumer groups.
- Manage schema evolution using Confluent Schema Registry and tune broker/producer configurations.
- Design and implement advanced caching patterns using Redis to reduce primary database load and latency.
- Utilize Redis data structures to solve complex application logic at sub-millisecond speeds.
- Architect, optimize and maintain large scale MongoDB databases including sharded clusters and replica sets.
- Design efficient BSON document schemas and perform advanced query optimization using the MongoDB Aggregation Framework.
- Profile end-to-end data flows and troubleshoot bottlenecks such as consumer lag, cache stampedes, and slow queries.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a DBA.
- Proven track record of executing at least 2 major enterprise-scale database modernization projects.
- Exceptional engineering mindset focused on code efficiency and problem-solving.
- Strong ability to collaborate with Application developers and DevOps Engineers for seamless system cutovers.
