Role Overview

The Consultant – Azure DevOps & Kafka will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Kafka-based event streaming solutions. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to automate deployments, manage cloud resources, and deliver scalable, secure, and highly available applications on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployments and manage cloud resources on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement and support Apache Kafka event streaming solutions.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures and production deployment issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud-native solutions.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Azure DevOps and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Artifacts, and Azure Boards.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Experience with Apache Kafka (Producers, Consumers, Topics, Partitions) and Schema Registry.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Experience with Git, YAML, and Linux/Shell/PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc. degree.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Azure certifications.
• Knowledge of Confluent Platform, Kafka Connect, or Kafka Streams.
