AI/ML Engineer / Core Python

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer / Core Python Developer to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Python development, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, LLMs, and backend development. You will be responsible for developing scalable Python applications and building AI-powered solutions using modern Generative AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable applications and backend services using Core Python.
• Design and implement AI/ML solutions for real-world business requirements.
• Build Generative AI applications using LLMs.
• Develop and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
• Work with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, or similar tools.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Integrate and work with Vector Databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, or ChromaDB.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Perform debugging, testing, optimization, and performance improvements.
• Support deployment of AI applications in cloud and production environments.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of professional experience in Python/backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Python.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and Prompt Engineering.
• Good understanding of RAG architecture and AI application development.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, or similar AI frameworks.
• Experience with Vector Databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, or ChromaDB.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker and Git.
• Understanding of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing AI chatbots, virtual assistants, or AI automation solutions.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, NLP, and Deep Learning.
• Experience deploying AI/ML applications or models in production.
• Familiarity with model APIs and modern AI/ML development practices.
