Role Overview

The Python Intern role at DevToDesk is a remote internship focused on practical, industry-aligned software development experience. This role is designed to help learners build confidence and transition smoothly from campus to corporate careers through mentorship and project-based learning.

Responsibilities

• Writing and testing Python code.
• Assisting in the development and maintenance of internal tools or learning platform features.
• Collaborating with mentors on small projects or assignments.
• Debugging issues, documenting code, and implementing improvements.
• Following best practices for version control and coding standards.
• Participating in review sessions, learning modules, and technical discussions.

Requirements

• Foundational Python programming skills (variables, data structures, functions, and OOP).
• Familiarity with Python libraries and frameworks such as Flask, Django, Pandas, or Requests.
• Understanding of virtual environments and package management.
• Basic knowledge of debugging, unit testing, and Git.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for a remote environment.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or bootcamp in Computer Science or a related field.
