SW Development Engineer 2

Role Overview

Join a highly collaborative engineering team in Bengaluru to scale Dexcom's HCP platforms, including Clarity, a data analytics and reporting platform for Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM). You will work across the full software development lifecycle to process large-scale patient data and deliver critical insights to healthcare professionals worldwide within a modern cloud-based architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software features for healthcare platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver customer value.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support operational excellence.
• Contribute to frontend and backend services.
• Apply secure development practices and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in Agile planning and sprint activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with modern programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Ruby, Go, Scala, or Java.
• Understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience building and testing web applications or backend services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React, Svelte, or Ember.
• Exposure to GCP or AWS.
• Experience with healthcare, regulated software, or data-intensive applications.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of observability and monitoring tools.
