Role Overview

Delhi Academy of Medical Sciences (DAMS) is one of India’s leading medical education and EdTech organizations, committed to delivering high-quality learning solutions through technology-driven platforms and applications. We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Noida.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Laravel and CodeIgniter (CI).
• Write clean, secure, reusable, and efficient PHP code.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Work closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams.
• Manage MySQL databases, queries, and application architecture.
• Follow MVC architecture and coding best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment activities.
• Maintain documentation for development processes and technical implementations.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in PHP web development.
• Strong expertise in Laravel.
• Basic knowledge in CodeIgniter / CI.
• Excellent knowledge of MySQL, database design, and query optimization.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture and OOP concepts.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization.
