Role Overview
We are an industrial technology solutions company developing proprietary, next-generation telemetry instrumentation and advanced sensor integration platforms. We are seeking a highly capable Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC) intern to join our core hardware engineering team. In this role, you will work on the interfacing, signal processing, and calibration optimization of a high-precision data acquisition platform.
Responsibilities
- Hardware Interfacing: Connect high-resolution Analog Front-End (AFE) sensor chips with 32-bit microcontrollers (like ESP32) using the I2C/SPI protocol.
- Probe Calibration: Optimize and test localized signal capture probe architectures for targeted data acquisition.
- Firmware Scripting: Write clean, modular C/C++ code to manage hardware register configurations and parse real-time parameter changes.
- Data Streams: Establish a reliable Serial-over-USB data pipeline to stream processed packets to a host computer interface.
- Lab Testing: Run empirical tests against baseline calibration targets to map signal behavior and eliminate environmental noise.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in E&TC, Electronics & Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
- Practical familiarity with programming and debugging ESP32, Arduino, or STM32 platforms.
- Clear operational understanding of hardware communication standards (I2C, SPI, UART).
- Strong fundamentals in analog/digital electronics, signal conditioning, data acquisition, and digital filtering.
- Good proficiency in C/C++ for embedded applications.
- Basic familiarity with Python is a plus.
- Comfortable using basic benchtop development tools like multimeters and breadboards.
