Data Engineering Intern

Role Overview

As a Data Engineering Intern at Dlytica, you’ll be part of a team building scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines that power analytics and AI-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for someone eager to work hands-on with big data technologies and cloud platforms and grow in a fast-paced, real-world data environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark.
• Support integration of data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, logs, etc.).
• Help design and optimize data storage solutions (e.g., data lakes, warehouses).
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable seamless data access.
• Participate in debugging and performance tuning of pipelines.
• Document data flows and pipeline processes.

Requirements

• Completed a bachelor’s in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• The candidate must possess a strong understanding of SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data tools is a plus.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Passion to learn and work in real data environments.
