Mobile App Developer Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated App Developer Intern who wants to work on real-world, production-grade mobile applications rather than just training projects. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to build, improve, test and deploy mobile applications using React Native, while gaining hands-on exposure to backend systems, real-time communication, AI integrations, search infrastructure and cloud deployment. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a full-stack mobile/product engineer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Work on both Android and iOS applications.
• Integrate and consume REST APIs and GraphQL APIs.
• Implement authentication, authorization and secure user sessions.
• Integrate Firebase services and push notifications.
• Implement payment gateway integrations.
• Integrate Google Maps and location-based services.
• Implement deep linking and app-to-app navigation.
• Work with WebSockets and real-time communication.
• Integrate and optimize Elasticsearch for search and discovery features.
• Work with MongoDB and Redis.
• Implement efficient state management and modular application architecture.
• Follow MVVM/MVC and clean coding practices.
• Assist in App Store and Google Play deployments.
• Monitor crashes, identify bugs and troubleshoot production issues.
• Write reusable, maintainable and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and product discussions.
• Work closely with backend, AI/ML and product teams.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of React Native.
• Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of Android and iOS architecture.
• Understanding of responsive UI and mobile performance.
• Familiarity with navigation and state-management frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Experience with MongoDB and Redis.
• Experience with Elasticsearch integration.
• Familiarity with Firebase, push notifications, and authentication.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub and MVVM/MVC.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD and mobile security best practices.
