Junior Software Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Java Developer with a solid foundation in Spring Boot to join our engineering team. In this role, you will assist in building, maintaining, and debugging scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with early-career experience to scale their skills in microservices architecture and modern cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Code Development: Write clean, efficient, testable, and well-documented Java code.
• API Maintenance: Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Database Integration: Work with relational databases to write optimized queries and connect systems using ORM frameworks.
• Bug Fixing: Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical glitches or production tickets.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of professional software development experience in Java ecosystems.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, including Collections, Multithreading, Exceptions, and Java 8+ features.
• Hands-on exposure to Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
• Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL, MSSQL, or Oracle.
• Practical experience using Git and Maven or Gradle.
• Foundational knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit.
• Education: MCA/BE/BSC IT/MSC IT.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka or Redis.
• Familiarity with front-end basics such as JavaScript, HTML5, Angular, or React.
