Mobile Application Developer Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Junior Android Application Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Android development and a passion for building high-quality mobile applications. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers with relevant project experience and professionals looking to grow their careers in Android development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Android applications.
• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Debug and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Participate in code reviews and follow Android development best practices.
• Optimize application performance, security, and user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin.
• Good understanding of the Android SDK and Android application lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Android Studio and Gradle.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API integration.
• Knowledge of SQLite/Room database.
• Understanding of Git or other version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. (Computer Science/IT), BCA, MCA, or equivalent.
• 0–1.5 years of experience in Android application development.
• Internship or academic project experience in Android development is preferred.
• Knowledge of Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, FCM, Analytics) is an added advantage.
• Experience with Google Maps API, location services, or Play Store publishing is a plus.
