Role Overview
Eaton Corporation’s Brightlayer Cloud team is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join an enthusiastic team building an Internet of Things (IoT) platform from the ground up. This role offers the opportunity to work on a start-up style initiative within an established company, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to build a framework for customer-facing applications.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of an Internet of Things platform.
- Develop high-quality, unit-tested code primarily using C# and Python.
- Document solutions using flowcharts, diagrams, and code snippets.
- Provide work estimates and participate in design and code reviews.
- Execute agile work plans for iterative project delivery.
- Collaborate with test teams to ensure coverage, fix bugs, and create automated test scripts.
Requirements
- BE/B.Tech degree.
- 0-2 years of progressive experience in software development and deployment.
- 0-2 years of experience with C# and .NET.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
