Software Engineer - Java/APIGateway(Apigee)

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Work with Product Owner to design and develop using the Apigee platform (Edge/Apigee X) and RESTful Services.
• Drive complex technical projects from planning through execution.
• Provide technical hands-on leadership and mentor engineers in an innovative environment.
• Work extensively on API gateway level configuration and coding.
• Perform code reviews and manage technical debt.
• Handle release deployments and production issues.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Engineering degree with 2-4 years of experience in application development using Java/J2EE.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and Linux.
• Experience designing and developing using Apigee (Edge/Apigee X) and Microservices.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps.
• Experience with container management tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher.
• Apigee certification is preferred.
• Experience delivering projects in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
