Job Description
Role Overview
Responsible for building and maintaining both the frontend and backend components of Shopify-based e-commerce storefronts. This role involves working with Shopify’s ecosystem including Liquid templates, Shopify APIs, and apps.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Ensure responsive, high-performance UI/UX design for cross-device compatibility.
- Work with Shopify’s theme architecture, including sections, templates, and metafields.
- Integrate third-party apps and APIs using REST and GraphQL.
- Develop custom Shopify apps using Node.js, React, Next.js, or Ruby on Rails.
- Manage backend services such as order sync, inventory sync, and CRM/ERP integrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience working with Shopify or e-commerce platforms.
- Strong portfolio of past Shopify stores or apps.
