Development Strategic Operations Intern

Role Overview

The intern will assist the Strategic Operations team in projects that support fundraisers in their work with donors. Reporting to the Project Manager, Development Information and Strategy, the role involves collaborating with the Information and Strategy, Development Research, and Development Database Services teams to support the department's $300M+ annual fundraising effort.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new hire orientation planning, including scheduling onboarding meetings and developing orientation materials.
• Support operational excellence through auditing resources, drafting communications, and updating internal documentation.
• Perform data cleanup, mapping, and tracking of constituent information within Salesforce and other systems.
• Conduct donor data reviews, map funder collaboratives, and manage foundation staff data.
• Collaborate across departments to support fundraising efforts and organizational effectiveness goals.

Requirements

• Enrolled in or a recent graduate of an undergraduate degree program.
• Demonstrated interest in nonprofit management, operations, business, or fundraising.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive and personal data.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM databases is a plus.
