Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile, analytical, and Self-Driven Golang Developer to join our engineering team for a 6-month internship/full-time conversion program. In this role, you will take complete ownership of our backend services across our Job Portal & EdTech Platforms, focusing heavily on building scalable APIs, optimizing database performance, and managing cloud infrastructure.
This position is ideal for someone with at least 6 months of professional or production-level experience who is ready to step up, tackle complex backend architecture, and deploy end-to-end solutions independently.
Responsibilities
Backend Development & API Design
- Write high-quality, clean, and maintainable code in Golang tailored for high-performance systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful or gRPC APIs to power features across our Job Portal and EdTech ecosystems.
- Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and authentication protocols securely.
Infrastructure & Cloud Operations (DevOps)
- Containerize applications using Docker to ensure consistent development and production environments.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor backend services on AWS (utilizing EC2, S3, RDS, or Lambda where applicable).
- Maintain basic CI/CD pipelines to streamline automated testing and deployments.
Database Management & Optimization
- Design scalable relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and non-relational database schemas.
- Optimize complex database queries and implement caching strategies (e.g., Redis) to ensure low-latency responses.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and reliable backup systems.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience developing backend systems using Golang (via previous internships, full-time roles, or extensive production-grade personal projects). A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
Core Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Golang fundamentals, concurrency patterns, and backend architecture. Familiarity with fundamental SQL/NoSQL databases.
Tools & Infrastructure Knowledge
- Practical experience with Docker containerization and core AWS services. Proficiency with Git for version control is required.
Problem-Solving Mindset
- A proactive individual who can debug complex technical issues, think through system edge cases, and execute tasks independently with minimal supervision.
