Role Overview

Edwards Lifesciences is expanding its global technology capabilities with the launch of a new IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India. We are seeking a hands-on developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Android applications that support warehousing, logistics, and supply chain operations in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business analysts and architects to design mobile solutions for supply chain operations.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure and reliable Android applications.
• Build and integrate mobile applications with APIs, cloud services, and backend systems.
• Develop proof-of-concepts including barcode scanning and AI-enabled features.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement reusable components.
• Support mobile application modernization and platform upgrades.
• Follow Agile methodologies and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of Android application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and mobile architecture patterns.
• Experience with Git.
