Network DevOps (NetDevOps)

Role Overview

The Network DevOps (NetDevOps) professional will be responsible for providing SME support and day-to-day administration for a global network footprint, focusing heavily on automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME support and day-to-day administration for a global footprint of Core/Access Switches, Routers, SD-WAN devices, and Wireless Access Points/Controllers (Cisco, HPE, Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti).
• Schedule and execute network device configuration management, firmware upgrades, and vulnerability mitigations across the network infrastructure in compliance with change management processes.
• Use Ansible and Terraform to automate provisioning and operations, and create/manage CI/CD pipelines for network and cloud environments.
• Support the networking requirements of cloud-hosted VMs and coordinate closely with third-party vendors (ISPs, OEMs) to resolve hardware break-fixes and connectivity outages.
• Respond to network alerts, implement Day-to-Day solutions for network performance/capacity issues, and resolve complex connectivity and user access incidents.

Requirements

• Expert-level experience in managing enterprise LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and Wireless infrastructures, heavily focused on Cisco, HPE, Cisco Meraki, and Ubiquiti environments.
• Deep operational experience executing network lifecycle management, including vulnerability mitigations, firmware upgrades, and IOS patch management.
• Mandatory skills include: Azure Cloud Network, AWS Cloud Network, Cisco SD WAN, Ansible automation, Terraform automation, Cisco ISE, DNS, Imperva, Cloud Flare, Site 2 Site VPN, and PowerShell scripting.
• Must have experience creating New, Managing and maintaining CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience with Routing & Switching (Cisco, HPE), SD-WAN (Meraki), Wireless (Ubiquiti), F5 Load Balancer & Cloud Networking though IaC.
• Good-to-Have: Experience administering core network services including IP Address Management, DNS, and DHCP.
• Good-to-Have: Familiarity with Out-of-Band (OOB) management solutions (e.g., Opengear) and Load Balancer administration.
• Good-to-Have: ITIL V3/V4 Foundation certification with strong process knowledge in Incident, Problem, and Change Management (via ServiceNow).
• Good-to-Have: Experience with Firewalls (Fortinet), Zero Trust Security (Zscaler ZIA/ZPA).
