Intern - Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

The Full Stack Engineer is an entry-level practitioner who actively learns and applies engineering techniques and tooling under guidance. Working within an agile squad, the engineer delivers prescribed tasks across both backend services and frontend (UI) features, builds foundational software engineering habits across the stack, and grows rapidly through collaboration with more experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clearly defined development tasks across backend services and frontend UI features as directed by senior engineers.
• Write clean, readable code following team coding standards and review feedback, across both backend and frontend code.
• Actively use foundational engineering tools — Git, pull requests, issue trackers — as part of the daily workflow.
• Participate in agile ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Perform unit and integration testing on own code and contribute to overall test coverage goals.
• Document code and technical decisions to support team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing Bachelors in Engineering/ Technology.
• Demonstrated ability to write and debug code in at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, or Java) and one frontend language (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Basic exposure to REST API design.
• Foundational SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
