Frontend Engineer

Role Overview

As an Eli5 Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for the frontend development of dynamic and intuitive applications for web, mobile, and desktop. You will play a significant role in Requirement Engineering, Prototyping, Product Design, and connecting Backend Technology.

Responsibilities

• Creating maintainable and extendable front-end solutions
• Defining and scoping the front-end part of projects with teams and clients
• Delivering high quality products within a team environment
• Working closely with back-end developers and designers
• Advising clients and product owners on technical pros and cons within product strategy
• Alignment with designers and other developers

Requirements

• Essential knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript
• Demonstrable professional experience with front-end frameworks such as VueJS, ReactJS, or NuxtJS
• Experience with version control using Git
• Experience working in multi-disciplined product development teams
• Degree in software engineering or equivalent work experience

Nice to Have

• Implementing software design patterns
• Knowledge of Laravel, Django, or similar backend frameworks
• Experience with package managers like composer, pip, or npm
• Experience with CI/CD (DevOps)
• Object Oriented Programming in PHP, Javascript, or Typescript
• Experience with isolated development environments like Docker, Virtualbox, or Vagrant
