Associate Software Engineer

Role Overview

Fission Labs is looking for a passionate Associate Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Full-stack or Python development. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, thrives in a collaborative environment, and contributes to building scalable, high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Contribute in design, development, and testing of application
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following standard coding practices
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to store, retrieve, and manage data effectively
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and contribute to software design discussions
• Learn and apply new frameworks, tools, and technologies to enhance development efficiency
• Maintain proper documentation of code changes, modules, and project updates

Requirements

• BE/BTech - 2026 batch
• Good Academics (Graduation percentage/CGPA > 60/6.0)
• Excellent pH score (eLitmus pH test)
• College must allow for a 6-month internship at the company's premises
• Strong understanding of building applications with Python, Java, or Node.js
• Good understanding of Python libraries and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB)
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and build tools like Maven or Gradle
